Althought I will not include all the gory details, I know first hand what happens when make rules for yourself, expecially in pact form, with a friend, then turn around and break the rules. I don't advise it, unless you enjoy temporary regret. 

I don't regret anything now, and I choose to believe the vortex rules are more like set of guideline, to which I can refer back to when I wish to kick myself for my stubbornness. Until I grow up and become a real girl, I'm am going to continue to bend the rules!

Lessons

So I've been able to learn some pretty cool things here! I've rediscovered how much I enjoy reading, and there is an amazingly large library 10mins from my current lodging, so that's exciting:) My grandma has played a large part in my education this summer....

What I've learned from Grandma Young:

Chocolate is something to appreciate

Pies are served in 4ths only

Time with family is beautiful,

and I wouldn't trade it for any worldly experience ever.

Respect other people's time

Most importantly I've learned a new apprication for my faith, spending time with such a devote christian is awe inspiring :)

The Couch-to-5k Running Plan

Now I am going to cut it down a bit, because my time is limited, so I will be doing this everyday, let us hope that in a few short weeks I will be able to run for 30 minutes without killing myself =)

Lazy days encourage Lazy days, Productive days produce more Productive days

To begin with.....

I need you to know two things.

I don't smile one hundred percent of the time, I even believe to do so is unhealthy
I know how valuable an honest smile is.

Its no wonder the current generation has problems defining themselves, if our parents only wanted us to grow up and be happy, is our happiness our own?

When we as individuals make the conscious decision that our lives are our own, as a new perspective, opportunities spring forth.

My scatterbrained self chooses to believe that.
